Neil Reshen has been active as a personal and business manager in a variety of fields for more than thirty years. His expertise covers a wide spectrum of the corporate and entertainment fields, including book, magazine, and music publishing.

Mr. Reshen has represented musicians and groups whose albums, cassettes, and CDs have sold in excess of 250 million units. Some of his clients in the music field have included Linda Ronstadt, Frank Zappa and The Mothers of Invention, Willie Nelson, Waylon Jennings, Miles Davis, Mary Wells, and Tommy James.

While Vice President in charge of Business Affairs for Gulf & Western, Mr. Reshen was involved with the film division of Paramount as well as its associated record labels and publishing companies. He was also in charge of foreign distribution arrangements and product development for the recording and publishing divisions of Paramount.

Mr. Reshen has managed and represented such diverse talents as Godfrey Cambridge and Melvin Van Peebles, as well as major talents in the graphic and fine arts field, such as Peter Max, Andy Warhol, Borris Vallejo, Olivia DeBernardinis, and Andy Jurinko.

In addition, Mr. Reshen has been active in the publishing field, representing well-known fiction and non-fiction writers. Among his clients he lists author Peter Golenbock. He has also represented several national magazines such as Cream, Smug, and Boxing Illustrated.

In the field of video production management, Mr. Reshen has placed particular emphasis on golf and baseball. He represented the network television show and subsequent video of "Golf's Greatest Moments: 100 Years of American Golf" for both domestic and foreign distribution. He also represented Walton Productions in its USGA network television show, "One Hundred Years of the U.S. Open."

Mr. Reshen's extensive experience in all areas of business and personal management is well documented and spans both corporate and entertainment interests.

Dawn Reshen-Doty
Vice-President

Dawn Reshen-Doty joined Benay Enterprises, Inc. in 1990 after working several years with the Travelers Relocation Division of General Electric, as a relocation specialist working with the Asian business community. Prior to that, she worked for the international real estate firm of Julian Studley as Assistant Manager of their Asian Division. She previously managed the New York office of Fujitsu, Ltd.

Prior to 1985, Dawn lived in Japan and worked for the Japanese Ministry of Education as a grammar school teacher, where she was able to expand her knowledge of Japan and the Japanese language.

Dawn holds a BS in Foreign Service from Georgetown University's School of Foreign Service.

In 1996, Merrilee Warholak began her career as a Publicity Director for a small, local publishing company. She then joined Benay Enterprises, Inc. in 1998.

Merrilee has since worn multiple hats at Benay including: incorporating new companies, overseeing the preparation of royalties, negotiating contracts, and licensing book rights to foreign countries for such books as Rocket Boys by best-selling author Homer Hickam, Jr., Flags of Our Fathers by James Bradley, along with various titles for other clients.

Merrilee most recently donned her newest hat as Managing Editor and Editorial Director for Benay’s client, For Beginners LLC (formerly Writers and Readers Publishing).

Merrilee received her BA in English from Western Connecticut State University.
